Brilliant day! Many, many thanks to all at Coastal; and well done and thanks to all our lads- a great team effort!
The scoreline would definitely have been much closer had our opponents not been let down by one or two non-arrivals and, with the majority of Coastal's drivers running 2wd, had the track stayed dry.
Special thanks to the indefatigable Paul F., and to Barry - superbly organised, as always! _________________ According to James Douglas Morrison 'the West is the best', but I'm stickin' with the 'East'! |

Yep, all of the above.
Had a really great day, was good to get the car on a different track to see how it felt, it was a good example too, going from a flat/bumpy lawford to a cambered/smooth track. It was nice to know that the car didn't need much of a change to make it work.
Thanks to Coastal too, was made to feel welcome all day long, and to have a few fresh cuppas in a proper mug really capped the day off well!
See you all again soon
Andy
BenH: good effort on the pics! lol! you must have caught me just as I was about to flick you the bird! |

119 verses 164, good result chaps, well done
So how does leg 2 work, does Coastal need to out score Lawford by 65 points to win? or is it getting worked out differently?
And do I get to play next time, or will it be the same teams facing each other? _________________ Light a man a fire, and he'll be warm for a day, but light a man on fire, and he'll be warm for the rest of his life. |

Hi all,
Sorry BenH was not trying to get you , it was just my driving or not as the case maybe or was it just the Atomic Carbon drawn towards you ?
Top day, Dan was made up winning all his reserve races and encoureged by nice comments from BenH & Juddy .
Thanx to both club's and the people that make it all possible at these events.

It's on aggregate scores, so Coastal need to win by 46 points!
As far as the team goes, we'll see who can play on the day.
It'd be nice (and only fair) in some ways, to keep the same team;
but Brad, Lee and your good self would've have driven had it been possible, so we'll sort it from who books in. _________________ According to James Douglas Morrison 'the West is the best', but I'm stickin' with the 'East'! |

I meant that they'd have to win by 46 points , see thats what happens when I post something as soon as I wake up!! fingers and brain aren't talking to each other then
Guess thats whats been the problem with me driving this year, must be still asleep at the track
Still, if you need me for the next one, I'll be there
