Hi All, Was good to see everyone having a good time and the drivers out for the first time sticking with it and getting round.

The couple of races that i saw were fun and could see that Andy was taking no prisoners.

Glad all had a good day and the silverware looked good too.

As Jim said he will have to look at next year for the attendance is low to these meetings , but i will be happy to sponsor a meeting again next year if its possible and will race as long as its not too near the misses birthday.(Julys out).

Paul.

Firstly, thanks to Paul for sponsoring the meeting - there were more trophies than drivers!

I was counting on a few breakdowns in that sweltering heat Wink  The B44 shell looks like a pepper pot now.

Bloody Ben H, he still came second when his wheel fell off - I've gotta admit he drove really well & deserved the second place spot we were racing for. Andy E was a class apart as always.

Only thing missing were more drivers

Excellent days racing again, really enjoyed myself again too.
It was bloody hot though! still, rather than that drizzly rain Surprised).
the new layout was quite challenging, but excellent once you got in the groove, as usual, a big thank you to everyone involved in getting the track and all the other bits and pieces sorted.

Looking forward to the next meeting already!

The racing was very enjoyable, with some very close contests.
The only thing I didn't enjoy was the lap counting for the A finals.
I didn't think it would be so difficult to count to nine. Sad
Sorry to anyone who thinks that they might have had an improved
result had it not been for me. Next time I need marshalling feel
free to ignore my car.

I'm not sure it would have changed or not, I was too busy crumbling under pressure.  I do know Jim was flying and reeling us in after a being unlucky to get held up at the start.  If it did help anyone, it helped me, so for that I am very grateful and will also be on top form for any marshalling required!  Wink  Very Happy

A brilliant days racing! Many thanks to Paul for his generosity in sponsoring the meeting, and a pat on the back to all who took part and helped with various chores- especially 'Team Flynn'!
Alex, but worry, I don't think it affected the result, and even if it did- who cares! It was just a grand day!

Hello,

Good old DMS racing will be getting the speedo and motor back tomorrow. They seem to think it was a temperature cut off issue. Fingers crossed...I still wondered if it was  a radio thing...which leads me to next question..cheap Tx/Rx combo..or do i save for a sanwa gemini which are within grasp by september (birthday)......
Been an expensive week...the nice new zx6 ninja cost me £400 parts alone for falling over on the drive..my car needs new brake discs and my buggy is broke too!!!!
