Wireless - Hijack your neighbours. All you need is an excuse to pop round - quick camera phone shot of the side of the router and you'll have the wep key. Post a pamphlet through their door with a BT logo on saying "due to network upgrades, you may experience a drop in connectivity speed, if so please shut down your PC and wait until your neighbour goes out!" |

Only problem with that, is that they are just as far from the local exchange as me, so their's isn't any better _________________ Light a man a fire, and he'll be warm for a day, but light a man on fire, and he'll be warm for the rest of his life. |

How about fibre.
All you need is a 12inch deep trench to the exchange, 5km of fibre and some media convertors.
Strap a trowel to the back of your Yok and let it fly!
