First meeting of the year for me, used the BK2, which seemed to handle the track very well. It was a nice layout which required some concentration but I found it very rewarding to drive.

I used the losi cause me and the pred had a smashing good time in practice...

My day wasn't as destructive as yours Stu, but it didn't go according to plan either Confused

Nice to be back outside on grass again, track was great. The new huge table top with the double step down was great, watching Juddy fly it was pretty cool Cool

Car problems for me though, not sure whats up with the B44, but its having some sort of interferance, but runs on Spektrum, so not sure whats causing it, going to try the radio gear from the BX in it this week to se if its any better.

Had a wheel bearing go on the BX, nothing too odd about that, except its buggered up the rear toe-in block (alloy) and chewed up the spacer between the bearings, so now it won't go back together right, parts are coming from Japan, so looks like B44 time for me wheather I like it or not!

Suppose I could always run the Hotshot at the Club Champs meeting.........not!

Do you have that capacitor thingy plugged into your receiver?  If not, I think I have a spare one kicking around that should cancel the interference probs with spektrum.

Yep, its already got one in it, but thanks anyway.

Wondering if something has shock apart from the Indoor Meet, as it was fine before this week Confused

Hey Stu - was your chassis the high carbon content 'lighter & stiffer' version? They seem far more prone to breakages.

No it was the standard XRS one. It's had some pretty good crashes in it's time so a major break was overdue.

I have however, just bought a lighter stiffer one was that a mistake?

I believe they are slightly more brittle which is an obvious, if unwanted, side effect of stiffer and lighter carbon. I'm sure it'll be absolutely fine though.

Bet that made a good noise when it broke eh ?  Very Happy

Yep, never had a problem with it since swapping over to Spektrum, thats what makes me think something didn't enjoy getting shaken about at the indoor GP last week.

Think I've found it, one of the wires in the servo plug was on its way out of the plug, pushed it back in now, have to see on Sunday if its better.

Don't think that was the only problem I have though, the car was slow for the first half of a race, then kicked in to warp speed for the rest of it! thought it was cells, but they worked fine in the Yok Confused  maybe the speedo is FUBAR'd

It did get VERY HOT in the final, But it should of cut out long before any damage had been done.
