Ok, I have followed the instructions in the manual, but does someone have any idiot proof tips for correctly building shocks?
How far should the shaft rebound on it's own?
Should there be a little squeeky bit when you fully compress the shaft (I guess it must be a bit of air at the top of the shock body)

1/4 inch rebound, the squeak is a bit difficult to get rid of.
I take it after 3 months you are 100% clued up on gearing now |

Yes, think I'm just about ok with gearing now!
You say the squeak bit is difficult to get rid of, does that mean it shouldn't be there? _________________ Team Associated B44 |

| Difficult to get rid of, if you have the correct amound of rebound, you are so close to being spot on as not worth worrying about the squeak. |

I've just rebuilt my shocks again, after my car handling very poorly last week. I took Juddys advice and used the 'Green Slime' and would recommend it to anyone when building shocks.
For some reason, the whole process of getting rid of air & the right amount of rebound was so much easier.
Cheers Juddy!

Nice to hear this works, as I will be doing Dave's B4 shocks with this very same stuff.
