A difficult and BUMPY track. Like others, went to the track thinking, "set up from last week should work perfectly ". It didn't
Stuck extra weight in the rear, helped. Everything else, didn't really notice a difference. It was all about percentages, experience and most importantly quality of thumbs. 2nd, 2nd, 2nd, 2nd, 2nd, last (stupid plastic pinion - Final, 2nd.
Trucks. I think on balance, I have about 2 points more than I should have, but I will relish them.

My set-up did
In truth, it was very bumpy, we could do with a bit of rain to flaten off the bumps a little, but I was happy to have set a faster time then last weeks FTD, esp since the track was so much more difficult.
I think Mark Woods drove really well, for his first time out with a new car, and not having done much Buggy racing lately.
One question remains that needs an answer, WHERE IS EVERYBODY?, If it wasn't for the lads from Coastal coming along, we wouldn't have had enough people to hold a meeting _________________ Light a man a fire, and he'll be warm for a day, but light a man on fire, and he'll be warm for the rest of his life. |

Totall agree. He really improved as the day went on and I had no chance of keeping up with him at towards the end of the meeting!
I enjoyed a mediocre meeting, with very average results.... which I'm beginning to think it the best I can muster! I had a good race with Colsie in my 2nd to last heat but that was about it!
Maybe a new 2WD is needed?! Ben C, what you selling at the mo?
In terms of numbers, I think the weekend must have had a little to do with it. I for one was made to feel guilty about spending the best part of the warmest day of the year racing rather than heading to a beach!
We never did get those promotional posters up either, did we? _________________ Team Associated B44 |

You could of had my "plastic piece of crap" Zipper.
You & that B4 are just going through the motions - time for a clean break & a fresh start (get yourself an X6, did wonders for Steve C, a new buggy is always the answer!)
Looking at the entries, looks like a few of us regulars were missing - hopefully we'll all be back in a few weeks
Might take a brick to stop George, he gave me a race with 3 shocks the other week!
