Wet grass tyre choice

With the last 2 meets being held on wet grass, it is apparent, at least for 2WD that minispikes on the rear are not generating enough grip, and you either have to dial out grip on the front, or let the slipper off a great deal.

Both myself and Juddy have had good results using tyres out the R/C museum. Schumacher 6x20 cut spikes or the original 4 row CAT tyres.

Hope this helps some people out.

At the masters and a couple of events last year I used the Original 4 row CAT tyres on the back of the XXX and it worked well, I either stick with minis on the front or use 2 row x 20's depending on how wet it is.

At the masters with the fresh track and the large amount of rain, Green minispikes just weren’t an option. Even the 4WD's were struggling!!

Must admit I found the grip level fairly bearable at the masters with minispikes, though more by luck than judgment the B4 seemed to four-wheel drift more than spin most of the time, hence the touch of opposite lock on the last corner most laps. Gentle 14x2 was probably helping too.

Wouldn't have objected a set of the CATs mind.

might be a bit late now but we need yokomo tr (tf)32 for the wet, this seems to be the choice selection of the people who know.

Contact Harlequine racing with your orders, we can order them from cml they come front and back for 4wd. I'm still trying to find some dialed fronts for 2wd.

Just thought i'd share that with ya all.
