4.5L 
I am not worried about corners, I figure with that motor I should be able to warp space and time and force the track to drive around my truck. Perfect set up 
If we have a motor stipulation, I will have to buy another motor!!! I have 3 not in use at the moment. 6.5R, 6.5L and 4.5L Would ideally like to use one of them. Unless someone wants a brand new 6.5L and wants to swap it for a brand new 13.5?

Hi all, i would like to see a 6.5 limit with regard the motors.
But i also have a spare 13.5 if you need to do a swap Mr B..?
Kierans X60 got here today so T.E will have three entrants in this class, just not sure Kieran wants to race or just destroy things with it??

I am happy with the motor Limit at 6.5 Limit.
I was joking with the 4.5. That will be going in the S4 when it's finished - like last year. I'll be putting the 6.5 L or Bonded R in the Truck.
Your X60 is going down, W, going down to ..........China Town.........yeah!

Ok then 13.5 motors it is but what gearing and size spur gear/ pinion would be best used?

large pinion small spur. pinion will almost certainly be in the 30s

(75 Tooth Spur/30 Tooth pinion) x 2.6 Internal Gear Ratio = 6.5 Final Drive Ratio
13.5T BL (Max revs) 26,640 RPM/6.5 = 4,098 RPM
Wheel = 30cm. 1229.4meters per minute
45.8mph That's bloody quick for a truck.

I was running my x6 with 13.5 at wrs, petit and newbury at 7 fdr and it wasn't anywhere near pushing it. the same motor in my tc has optimum fdr of 4.2:1.
With the added weight of the truck a final drive ratio of 6.5 should be safe.
Best just to try it on the track though
