TRACK, JUMPS, GOOD NEWS AND THIS WEEKENDI have some great news.
Paul, Jim, Juddy and I spent an afternoon at the track. Paul brought a ton more timber, some metal griddy stuff that I can't remember what it's called, and a tub of bitchumen.
The pot holes have been filled, track re-laid, ramps repositioned and re-made.
I'll go ahead and pat Jim, Juddy and myself on the back for the efforts. However, I would like to say a bloody huge thank you to Paul for the supply and work on the track furniture. It is in a word....... reallygoddamnawesome. The coating (only partially applied by me, before I was taken from the job for being useless) expertly applied by Jim is brilliant. Plenty of traction, you can now go as slow, or as quick as you want. And they look great too.
The new scoop additions keep the launches clean and landings soft. HOWEVER - with the new grip and the run up - you will need to ease off the throttle, or before you know it, your being shot down out of Canadian Airspace.
Follow the shadow of cone 6 for the Handicap line. This should quieten down the start line and stop any potential silliness. We'll be relegated there if we're naughty.
Here's some pics - Enjoy

Finally, can anyone spot the silliness and reference to Mr Myall and myself
P.S
The new grid jump was designed to, in future, be used as a cross over

Good works guys, those look a lot nicer to go over then before As bloody nicely made as they were, they were a bit tricky to say the least!
Benny, have you already booked pole for the final by chance? Since the bits I need for the D4 aren't here yet, you need to go up against the Yokomo this week

I had a look at the pictures - I am amazed you spotted it. But yes, Jim, under duress, kindly painted a BH on pole!!! But it's the JM on grid 6 that made me laugh. Especially as there isn't that many drivers booked in !
Reasons to worry........
1 - You!
2 - You and Yok!
3 - Antagonising You and Yok before the weekend.
Reasons to be cheerful, Zippers got a a lot to deal with in the 2WD
I am really looking forward to Sunday. Cracking track and and some good weather is due.
Bring on the club champs

Look at Pole - there is a BH painted on it. On 6, there is a JM.
There is a Handicap point. If anyone causes chaos on the start line and a restart you will be handicapped and will start from the "H" line on the re-start. I think (have't checked the rules) it applies for not marshalling promptly too.
The Grid jump is see through with the mesh so it can be used as a cross over in future.
