I am reducing my ownership of the buggy industry as we speak. To focus on 1 x 4WD and a little on 1 x 2WD car for this season.

If competiting in the 4WD Champs and my car is broken and cannot be repaired before the next race (sometimes immeadiatly after) Can I run a 2WD in the next programmed 4WD heat. Will I be penalised?

If my 4WD is completley unrepairable or do not have the time in which to do it, Can I run the 2WD in the 4WD final.

Just to confirm, I would not be looking to secure any 2WD points, only 4WD points in this scenario.

28 THE USE OF TWO OR MORE CARS DURING CHAMPIONSHIP ROUNDS
AMENDMENT
A driver may only use a second car during a Championship round if the car is a) of the same Class: whereby the driver will simply carry on in their respective heats, or b) if swapping to another Class, will only be permitted to race in heats where there is not a full complement of drivers. i.e. a non-starter, etc. and only in a maximum of 6 heats minus the number of heats they have already competed in.
29 Their position in the Club Champs Finals will be determined by the car they intend to use in the Final, i.e. 2wd or 4wd, and only by the number of points gained by using the said class of car.

ANY CHANGE OF CAR MUST BE NOTIFIED TO AND APPROVED BY THE REFEREE.

That sounds to me, like you'd end up scoring 2wd points, but don't worry Bennyboy, your racing a Yok this year, should get you through without breaking, just have to make sure you put your motor in right next time Wink
