Petit - The final CountdownNow the WRS is over, the focus can switch to screwing up at the Petit!
At the moment, plans are in place (although verification on the arrangements are pending) for Zipper, Phil and myself to head down Friday - Midday. Reason - Avoiding the 2.30pm-8pm Queen Elizabeth bridge crossing is high priority.
George - Concerned about the bad influence of LBC on a Friday night - will be heading down on Saturday morning. 2WD is his big day, where as (with the excepetion of A-Final Zipper) the rest of us will be looking to "attend" on the Saturday and "drive" on the Sunday. I am looking forward to seeing how that pans out!!!
Steve B and Steve C are likely to drive down Saturday morning, although possibly both Saturday and Sunday pending work for Mr B.
Be good to know what the following are doing too:
Paul and Dan Newman - Plans for Friday arrival?
Juddy & Jim?
Duncs and Al?
Steve T? Are you hanging around for Sunday?
BenC - Are you coming with Zipper, Myself and Phil? (We plan to depart from Man'ree at Midday.)

Really looking forward to this now!
If there's room I'll come down with Ben H, Zipper & Phil - be good to get there early, give me time to build the new buggy

Ben - No problem. Is the time good for you?

Hi guys - Happy New Year to all.
Me and Duncs were planning to make an early start on Sat am I think. Do we have rooms booked for Sat evening? or Fri & Sat? We're both struggling for time and cash hence coming down on the morning.
Looking forward to it.

Hi Al
Your rooms are booked for Friday and Saturday fella. Although, maybe, you could pimp your room out to Steve T if he's only coming down for Friday night?

Yeah, that time is no problem - any excuse for a day off
Be nice to check out the track on the friday, make a few final adjustments to the buggies , have a nice Salmon Pizza & a few beers...
Like George (& probably Juddy), I was looking forward to 2wd the most, but as long as I lay off the wine & spirits I'll be fine

'cause I'm a useless sod - can you remind me how much the hotel bill will be for both nights? Cheers.

Let's see - erm....I need two new packs of LiPo's and a harness for the balancer. £150 per night should cover it.
2 mins. I don't remember either - but I did post it up.

Moved. How do you want to pay the £65 'thread move' fee?

So is that £65 per person per night, or for both nights?

Call it quits with the Hubbard hotel booking services fee? Which amazingly comes to the same figure!

For all those doing 2WD on Saturday. What motor are you running and in what car.
I have Novaks 6.5R and 5.5R to use. Whichever goes into the B4 the other will go in the truck. I fear they are both going to be a tad on the silly side.

If you put the6.5 in the b4 and gear it at 23/24 81, that should be fine. ( 24 a bit heigh but might takr the edge off).
The truck sould be able to haddle the 5.5 put a 22 23 onthat i reckon?
