MARCH 30: CLUB CHAMPS ROUND 3Amazing - A decent set of results and all of a sudden, you have just been to the greatest meeting in the world... ever!
So from my slightly biased perspective I shall wallow in the glory of not beating but whoooooooping the Zip! Like a pig in poo and dog with two erm...tails, I am now looking forward to the inevitable fall as the universe finds balance
Weather was great and trackside banter was great. Everything was great!
My season has just started and can't wait until the next one (on the premise the universe forgets to restore balance!)

Really enjoyed today - a good turn out & great weather.
The 2wd races were great to take part in - closely fought & a good number of potential race winners in every heat.
Well done to Juddy & Jim for taking qualifying & the final.

Thanks Ben.
It's a pity we clashed going in to the last lap of the Final, but we neither of us were prepared to give an inch. It was 50-50 and, on this occasion, I was the lucky one!
Although there's not many of us, the 2wd this year is gonna be tough- as shown by the heat winners so far. As it is at the mo, you can win one heat and trail in last in your next having driven better!
Well done to the Juds who, on the day, was a tad more on the ball.
Roll on Round 4!
Well done to Andy E. in 4wd, with a flawless display; though I have to say John didn't have one of his better days. Nice, though, to see him drop a few points in the Club Champs - there's hope for us 2wds yet!
Well done also to Ben H. On reflection I think he drove better today than he's driven before- much more controlled. As for Lee, his luck doesn't get any better- and I seriously think he should give the Durga another outing....he looked far more comfortable with it than the BJ4!
Very impressed, again, with young Harry. A few more meets and he'll be whooping Dad's ass!
All in all, a grand days racing -and a dry one...at last!

Yeah great days racing, i think i enjoyed it more then any other meeting to date.
Winning qualifing is my best acheivment so far, but for some reason just before the whistle blow for the final, i started to doubt i would win.
I was was so worried about crashing on the first lap that i managed to do it twice!
Won't happen again! Also i can't see Matt taking this lieing down.
Let the tightest battle for the 2wd championship in 12 odd years begin!
(Ben C won the last one!!).

Yeah, bit of an odd day for me, having to swap between cars isn't the best way to try and beat Andy. I think it was Andy's "B44 Death Ray" that did me in, but he'd adjusted it to do in the Yokomo
Wasn't the best felling going in to the final with the B44 knowing that even fighting for the win wasn't going to happen, the car just isn't good enough, but I couldn't trust the Gremlins in the Yok to leave it alone for 9 laps, when trying to get 7 out of it without interferance was hard enough
Jim, enjoy my hicup while you can, I will be back, stronger next time

Yes, I fear that will probably be the case!
Just for the record, John, in which races did you use the Yok?

I still can't believe the weather people got it wrong again! )
I'm very glad I stayed to race now. I had a great time racing the new car.
Thanks to Jim and Sal for another fun meeting, and anyone else who is involved with the general running of the club.

The Yok was used in race 1, 2 when it started playing up, and race 6 when it won the race ok, but then went mad as it crossed the line
Damn these Mclaren boys, have to get on to the FIA about these "Death Rays"
Well Done Andy, maybe next time it'll be more like last year
