JUNE 16: CLUB CHAMPS ROUND 7Another great days racing - was really good to see a big turn out, made the racing very exciting.
Great result for Zipper and John. Spike was on form on the two wheel drive - (good! shouldn't be coming back to 4WD for a while! )
Don't know what happened to you Phil? That Mungo curse must be intefering with the Death Ray!

It was a good meeting and finally a bit of luck went my way which put me back on the heels of Mr Hubbard!
A bit gutted to have been beaten to Ben H in all three of our match up's yesterday..... I'll get you next time!
The 2WD's were as close as ever and brilliant to watch. Matt looked very good with the X6.
Sorry to Andy East, who I think I clipped in the final and may have ended his chances of winning the A final.
I managed to snap a few photo's yesterday, I'll try and get a few posted up later.
Roll on the next club champs!

Unbelievable, Andy breaks his car to give hand you first place in a heat and that's the thanks he gets.
Andy I have written some new code for the Death Ray just copy and paste into the ECU.
Delete {reg/filename_JMyall}
Upload{directory_source "Durga"} save_f:/LBC_"Zipper"
<Startup {tracecar_"Durga"}/><Active-{action e:/ray_of_death.dat"} {execute}

A really good day, good turn out, more then last weeks regional, and the weather stayed good to
Lots of good racing to see, good to see Matt win with the X-6 first time out, I did say to Juddy when we first got there, that Matt would be quick, and its not even set up yet
Nice to see Lord Lucan of Racing (Chris Condon) return to the track, very nearly to win the A final as well, if it wasn't for one bump that cost him the lead, then second place one lap later!
For me, it was great to win the final, starting to forget what that feels like especially with Andy on such awesome form these days.

If he uses this new code, I'll be a very happy person When I tore the end off one of my B44's front drive shafts, I thought "here we go again, Andy has turned the Death Ray on!" Lucky for me, the old trusty Ploopy Pink Yok, is still pretty quick

A big thanks again to all for a really fun day out, racing is so much fun again now!
Zipper. Don't worry about the incident, if I hadn't of made a mess of it before that, nearly ruining John's race in the process it would never had happened anyway!
All my issues were totally self inflicted, but the errors in the final made me push the car pretty hard to catch up, and I learnt a few things from doing that, so every cloud and all that...
Ben. Cheers for the PM, I will try and get some practice in before I face the LBC Mario Kart kings! Unfortunately my death ray is not programmable in a computer way, but in a serial killer way, I had to speak to it very softly for days on end taunting it with really nasty words 'Get John, kill John's car, It was John's car that tried it on with your sister, do it, kill John's car'... you see, to program a death ray takes real time and patience.
Anyway, I can feel my mind unraveling before you all on the internet, so I will go now...
... See you all soon!

Well what a day even though I had to drop out of 2 races coz of a cheap crappy servo which didn't have enough power to turn corners (I might add this is now been smashed into agodzillion pieces)
I had really GOOD day lots of happy people some really good races in 2WD and 4WD
Going on holiday for a couple of weeks so will be looking forward to racing in july

Hi, Good day at Lawford as always , but the racing for me was just not happening.
The Yokomo broke more times on Sunday than the last eight months of racing so going to give it one last go and then back to the associated .
Even the A44 drive shafts just fell out in the one race i used it for !
I think the highlight of the day was keeping Ben & Phil amused in our heat with my driving skills ( the servo linkage was snagging on the aerial mount) so not all my own work .
See you all in a couple of weeks,
Paul.

Hmm what can I say but woop woop it was so good to get back to 2wd after all the grief of a 4wd and as seems the set for the 2wd this year every race was a hard fought thing with one mistake being the difference between 1st and last. There were some awsome bits of racing to watch all throughout the day with everybody by the looks of it pushing it to the limit. Hopefully I'll be able to get along again next week to join in again

Another good days racing.
I was glad i got up at about 6.30 in the morning to get the X6 finished off, thanks John for the body shell. A bit of dodgy electric placement kept on turning off in the first round, but after that i was very happy with it. Got some axles and Espeed parts on the way that should be here for the next meeting. The 4wd A was the race of the day for me.
