i have a 7.5 motor not sure wot to run. 20/21t pinion on standard spur seems ok!

A 7.5 is equivalent to a 13-16t brushed motor. I would start by gearing it to the B4's manual recommendation for a 13t brushed motor (which is a 22t pinion). So, you will be fine using the 21t pinion you already have.
