FRONT TYRESi have seen some people running the front tyres on a 2wd car without foams!!
has anyone seen this?
What works best at lawford??

Ran my fronts without inserts all last season on the B4, seemed OK. Didn't do back to back tests with or without though so haven't got a comparison for you sorry.

Likewise, wasn't deliberate I'll admit, but the buggy handled well enough.

Some more thought on the subject,
If you are running blue minispikes then you an insert won't do much, as the compound is relatively hard and the small cross section of the 2wd tyre makes for stiff sidewalls.
Yellows I have been told are worth using an insert on, green is halfway house.

While on the subject of front tyres I don't glue my 2WD fronts. I do however always run foams but I only ever run greens or yellows.

What difference does using the narrow or wide wheels make? I've always used the narrow ones on my losi.
I have considered negating the foams but I was scared the tyre on the narrow wheels would deform really badly.
