Yes, well done guys and girls - I really enjoyed the day and, strangely, loved racing on the slippery surface. Some inspired drives from the usual suspects, great to watch.

Nice to see you all again, here's to a fun 2008.

Great meeting - some great driving on a challenging surface.

The jumps were amazing - hopefully we'll be seeing them again soon.

Just like being in Paris again - without Steve's snoring - brilliant!

Great meeting, made a change from racing on grass Smile

Amazed but my B44 made it through the meeting in one piece!first time its done that.

Al was awesome over the double jumps with his Pred, if there is one car that shouldn't do that, its a Pred, but it very nearly made it all the way to the end without breaking, highlight of the day by miles.

Great meeting, thanks to those who put all that time and effort in to getting the track and jumps designed and to the regulars at race control.

The jumps were certainly great fun, but the real killer was the carpet at the end of the straight..who knew so many places would be lost there and hy didn't we learn to let off earlier lol!!!

Highlight - Ben H being the first to prove that the table top can be made in one jump - even if the S4 was sounding a little 'off' by the end of the day it was worth it...also to Juddy for jumping that 2wd in style!

See you all soon

A huge thank you to everyone who helped. WOW - Clearing the hall in 15 minutes was amazing.

Really enjoyed the day and was surprised my car lasted a whole day. The only race it didn't finish was where the switch was knocked and it turned itself off. Rolling Eyes  The S4 was still in one peice at the end of the day - JUST. It certainly did sound, as Chris kindly put - "off", and "off" being the equivalent of putting your car in the washing machine, setting it to spin and replacing the persil tablets with house bricks. My apologies go out to the car and an overhaul is on its way Laughing

Special thanks to Cheralyn, baking all day Saturday, again on Sunday morning from 7am. It was all worth it. We made a grand total (on the refreshment stand) of .....wait for it.......£7.10 Laughing  Laughing  Laughing

Lessons learnt and plenty of them.  Very grateful for all the comments received throught out the day and above. The next one will be better, there will be more carpet (smoother too).  Put more drivers in the heats. etc etc.

Now we know the costs of these things, we won't run out of cash for the trophies and make them a little more representative of the achievments Laughing

I really enjoyed the day and once again thank you to everyone who helped.

Special thanks to Jim, Sal, Maria, Cheralyn, Paul, AndyEm

Very well ne to Ben H and Lee for organising the whole thing. It was a wicked day. I wasn't having too much fun with the xx4, it just wouldn't play ball, that, and the fact I was completely unprepaired for the event.

When I was finally starting to get the hang of the hand brake turn crazy car in the D final, it was too late.

See you all agan soon for the off road action.
Matt

I would just like to add my thanks aswell.
I really enjoyed it and by the final i had got the hang of it.
Looking foward to the next one.
