b4 & lipo =????ok i know a lipo will fit a b4 but just want to check as Ben C mentioned that this combi has been tried but not with much success ......
i am just sick of the hassle that goes with nimh cells ( charge/discharge/equalize etc) and now i no longer have a elec tc i would rather not have the hassle as i would rather concentrate more on getting that car going well than on thinking did i charge that pack or that pack and to spend £120 on 3 packs of cells that may go woof or be dead in a month or so and lose their punch/poke .....
thoughts / flamings/ ideas/ pin number with credit card details/numbers from your little black books/ next weeks lottery numbers ( even wednesdays will do at a push) all greatly received
thanks

Note sure I can be much help, as I've got more questions than answers but I've done a bit of investigation on running B4s with LiPo as I was going to run mine and Dan's that way next season.
The main issue seems to be that the reduced weight of the LiPo packs unbalances the buggy. The link in the 5th message of this Oople thread has one interesting solution aside from just loading up with lead:

Also http://www.rc10b4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=9162&highlight=lipo
I'm sure someone who actually knows something will be along soon...

thanks miffy had seen the oople thread previous but the b4 forum looks good for reading....
JCB thanks also for your input much appreciated
i think i will go for it as i wont really race anywhere else apart from Lbc and i doubt if i will attempt regionals etc ..
i just need the easiest way forward lol as i do not have the patience for "cell maintainence " as i now run nitro tc "fuel ,start, go " and going to stick to brushed motor as well so can always tweak the timing to reduce the punch or read my 3vc manual lol ...
lead hmmmmm
seen any church roofs in secluded areas ???
(joking btw)
