AUGUST 2ND: CLUB CHAMPS ROUND 11Whilst a low turnout can normally spell disaster for close racing, George and Colsie didn't dissapoint. My apologies to Mark for not paying attention, I was watching the two heavyweights go toe to toe in some great battles.
It was good to see Jim getting amongst it again, and even more so with "Zipper Mind Game Crunchie Colours" - Such a shame the other shells didn't fit
I am really enjoying the close racing (regardless of the result ) It would be great to keep it going. I hope it continues and I hope our current champ returns rejuvinated. Jim will be running the yok for a couple of weeks and we'll get that tuned to more how he likes it. (Not too much though! ) Zipper, John, Jim, myself and then anyone else who gives themselves a chance by booking in for a couple of meetings and getting their eye in.
Our man Dan, who in one race got out in front and had blistering pace. When I finally caught up he did what I am so good at, watching someone elses car, clipped the pipe and handed me the lead. I also think your ready to go for more grip Dan - lose the drift. You'll learn more about the corners, and you'll be even quicker.
Looking forward to another battle with Zipper and John and Jim; at the very least. Maybe Mr Wiggles will get some free time to get that S4 back up to speed (Put a diff in the front ) Phil Jeffries? I hear Swifty could be on the verge of a return? Brad keeps threatening? Easty pops along for a couple, all of a sudden making an A-Final becomes an aspiration as opposed to a given. That would be exciting.

Re: AUGUST 2ND: CLUB CHAMPS ROUND 11Awesome driving by young Mr Hubbard, by far the best he has ever driven I'd say, only almost the perfect result, still need that FTD Benny
Still your vision of the Club Champs result you posted about, seems to be one step closer.

Your not the only one that hope that, I seem to be having a bit of a Brawn/Button style slump at the mo, seems like I've run out of talent since the Coastal regional back in June
I don't intend on going the same way as another former LBC 4wd Champ
Did find out a few things with the car that gives me a little hope for the upcoming races, the "Horn" that went to the "Droop", seems to be back to a "Semi", just need to find a few special blue pills to get it close to what it was before

Re: AUGUST 2ND: CLUB CHAMPS ROUND 11It was excellent ill agree.
Big congrats to Master Hubbard.. The almost perfect meeting... Mmm almost the stuff of dreams..
The squeezing was superb aswell.. Kept thinking God here comes the "Red Baron" Mr F... Keep calm. God here comes the truck.. Ah made it.. Excellent fun!
Also counting and occasionally mashalling (at the same time) was fun but quite tricky
I could only really tell Jim n Ben appart at first by looking for spring variation. Then soon all became apparent cos Ben kept winning! Even though Jim was only slightly off pace.
God knows what its like to race against sibling cars, but i'm figuring Zip, it was another thing to think about

More like Heavy weight V's light middle weight! At least as far as cars are concerned.
Hoping for a few more next time.. there still points to be had !
Well done all! Happy racing!

Sounds like another cracker. Very glad to hear that the reduction in numbers isn't hurting the atmosphere of the club.
Very pleased to hear that Jim was back on track again and enjoying himself too.
On the way up eh John? See you at the SEN then
Hubbard, your reign of terror must come to an end this weekend... we can't have Franken-carbon-stein winnning yet again! lol!
See you all on Sunday (plus a few more I hope!)

Must say that I enjoyed the racing. The atmosphere was great. The racing between Colesie and George was great in the 2wd.
Ben H and the S4 was great to watch. With so much of my time spent off the track or retired hurt i was able to see others driving. I wish only i could eminate this!!
Cannot wait to race again. The sloth family may well be moving back to Manningtree later in the year if all goes well.
Thanks again for making the trip worthwhile

Firstly pot-kettle-black. Given; yours is more Frankincense (and back to baby Jesus we go!) with it's carefully measured ingredients as opposed to excavated remains of dead cars cobbled together with oversized and rounded bolts, but .......a butchered beast it is non-the less.
Anyway......
I have 6 days to come up with an elaborate mind game. In the meantime, sending Zipper lot's of emails containing various images of milk chocolate covered and honeycombed centred confectionary. A van with Myallys favourite foot tapping music is parked outside his house causing more tendonitis - just in case. I'll, again loosen Duftys motor wires so they unsolder. Steveb has sold his 4WD, Jim is using mine with it's new "Wobbly Wheel" addition. I'd say pretty much got it in the bag.

Brilliant! lol
I can't wait for the weekend to get here. It's already building itself a good atmosphere
Does anyone know if the Norfolk lads are going to make it?
I'm looking forward to seeing what mind-games crop up too.
See you at the weekend

Carl and Simon have both confirmed. 2WD has picked up nicely.
What we need is some 4WD's now.
