Mr Candler had a suggestion today and I think it's a good idea. Jim has given it the green light too so here it is: -

Summer is round the corner, nights are getting longer therefore Wednesday nights are open nights at the track. Question

£2.00 - Gates open at 5.45pm and shut at dusk.

It's mainly for people to get some quiet track time, or maybe have commitments that weekend, but want to keep their eye in. Can bounce ideas,  share set-ups (or lead them down the garden path if that's your thing! Laughing)

There will be a booking in thread for each week.  This is so that a number of different people aren't bashing Jims door down for the key.  One with the "K" next to their name will be the keymaster for the evening to stop, "oh but I left it with him".   If you need a backpack and a Gatekeeper that's fine, but remember crossing the paths of the cars and/ or reversing the polarities will ensure that an ESC will definitely open a portal to the netherworld and suck any positive spirit away resulting in the car looking like a marshmallow.  Whatever you do don't tell Eastie Spengler you'll never hear the end of it.

Anyway, comments below and see what the consensus is.

PS - Does Winston Zippermore work? Laughing

This would be great 4 me.  I want to use the buggy but shifts prevent me from doing much at weekends. A couple of light hearted races would be great and bring me up to speed...could whizz over on the motorbike for a couple of hours, rather than the military operation it is now with wife, kiddies, pushchairs nappies and the dog!!!

I reckon they are waiting for the booking-in thread!  (See Ben's 1st post).  That's why I've not driven over anyway, I just assumed it wasn't happening today.

Me too Zipper.

Was keeping an eye out and even tried calling Ben twice today to see what was happening?

No drama but looking forward to this as it will be all i can do for the next month or so due to the house being ripped apart.

Also should have the carbon fibre for your front tower tomorrow mate so i will get that knocked out for you this week.

Booking in this Wednesday?  Confused

Is there going to be a track to practice on?  Is it not being ripped up in preperation for the Man'ree Car Show meeting?

Just a thought.  If not, i'll book in too. Can't race tomorrow Sad  So I will fancy bookin in.
