I'm not sure my opinion is worth much seeing as I can't get back very often to race very often - but I think it's a great idea Paul.  Cool

I like the sound of an endurance race.

How many per team/ duration? etc etc.

My dream team:

SteveT - Chief Engineer and Primary Diff Specialist
BenH - Assistant to the Chief Engineer, Secondary Diff Specialist/ Maintenance, Wheel Tightener and Polarity Checker.
Zipper - Polarity Checker Level 2.
Juddy - Team Counsellor
George Fairweather - General Exorcist
Paul Newman - Stockist and Parts coordinator
SteveC - Motor Solderer
Mark Funky - Team Marshall

Just need a driver.  Anybody interested?

Hi All,

Missed the reply posts on this and glad it's been well received.

Teams of two or four, i think four would be better as one team member on rotation will be needed as a marshall,

One as a driver,

One for cells and other preperations,

and one for pouring the beer if we take up on Dunk's idea??????????

More idea's please and maybe we could have a newby on each team if the car show generates intrest ( free buggy experiance unless they total the car that is)

W..

We used to have 3 of these each year back in the day.
We'd have 6 teams of 4, and 2 x 1 hour sessions for each team to do as many laps as possible.
Each driver had to do at least X number of laps otherwise the team would lose his/her deficit from their tally.
We did try to re-introduce it a couple of years ago, but to no avail.
I'd certainly like to see it happen again....they were brill!
